Résonances, Paris, until the 30th december
An exhibition called “Résonances” takes place at the present time until the 30th december in the metro line 14 stations. The line 14 have already hosted such exhibitions. The current exhibition was created by the group 6bis, a group of twenty artists from the entire world. They are painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers and stagers who work in Vitry/Seine in an old shop.
They work alone or in a collective way, about different subjects which are in relation with common human and artistic values such as inspiration emanating from cultural exchanges. They have already worked on such projects in relation with public places.
The exhibition they created were specially thought for the line 14 showcases. A particular aspect is that there is not a single place for the exhibition. If you want to see all of it you have to get off of the metro at the stations Bercy, gare de Lyon, Châtelet, Pyramides and Madeleine. So you can take advantages of the exhibition by only seeing the showcases of one station. All the showcases design an artistic unity but each showcase can be seen as a particular artistic work. These showcases are designed with materials they found in Vitry/Seine. We can hope that such exhibition make people more pleasant in the metro!
